Sport News: Beckham was once my idol developing up says Griezmann

Atletico Madrid celebrity Antoine Griezmann has published that he wears the No.7 shirt considering that his childhood idol was David Beckham.

Griezmann, who used to be a losing finalist within the Champions League and at Euro 2016 final season, also wears long sleeves in tribute to the previous Manchester United winger.

The Frenchman has resisted interest from different clubs this summer season to stay at Atletico but hinted he might emulate Beckham via playing within the premier League at some point.

“I liked [Beckham] loads,” Griezmann instructed the Guardian. “He was my idol. That’s why I put on a protracted-sleeved jersey and put on the No.7.”
